This exquisite Ilkhanid-style lusterware plate, titled “The Courtly Banquet,” is a masterful revival of 13th–14th century Persian ceramic art. Handcrafted using traditional overglaze metallic luster techniques, the piece reflects the elegance of Ilkhanate artistic heritage.

The central composition depicts a symbolic courtly banquet scene (Bazm), with two figures surrounded by intricate floral and arabesque (Islimi) motifs. The iridescent glaze creates shifting tones of gold and copper depending on light, highlighting the depth and refinement of the artwork.

Produced as a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece in the Tavassolian Brothers Workshop, this plate represents a fusion of historical authenticity and contemporary craftsmanship.
